St. Lawrence’s Church, the most exciting Norman work in the county, sehr viele Näpfchen und Rillen am Außenbau - vor allem an der Südwand des Querschiffs - , einige mit Zement ausgestrichen. "One can see where they (i.e. the archers) practised their skills, as the “arrow whets” for sharpening the arrow points are many and specially common on the outer face of the South transept wall." (arrow whets = Pfeilschliffe)
